Fox Lake Fire Department "100 Years Old" Parade : The Fox Lake Fire Department turned 100 years old in 2008 and on July 18th through the 20th they have been hosting a big party at there Station #2. On Saturday, July 19th departments from IL and WI made the trip to Fox Lake to attend a huge Fire Truck parade. The overcast sky and light rain did not stop the heavy metal from making a lot of noise. 100 years of protecting the community, how time flys when you are fighting fires, responding to accidents and medical emergencies, water rescues, burning out the sirens at the 4th of July parades and so on and so on.
