California man disappears in Fox Lake : A California man visiting family near Antioch disappeared while boating by himself on the Chain. His boat was found on the west shore of Minneola Bay. The Fox Lake FD pulled a MABAS water search and rescue box and departments from all over Lake and McHenry Counties searched the chain for three days. Fox Lake FD divers continued the search on there own for almost a week, finally finding then victims body just northwest of Stanton Point in Fox Lake.

SUV breaks through ice into lake. : Two people decided to take there new SUV for a spin on a hockey rink that was set up on one of the channels off Gages Lake in Wildwood. The SUV fell through the ice, tipping on it's side. Grayslake FD divers resonded to the scene but the driver and passenger had climbed out of the vehicle before there arrival. The divers assisted Wildwood Service with removing the vehicle from the lake.

Driver passes out and drives into Lake Miltmore. : The driver of a pick-up truck passed out from a medical condition and drove off the T intersection of Engle Drive and Nathan Drive and into Lake Miltmore. His truck drove about 100 yards downhill through a yard just nicking two large trees before ending up another 70 yards in the lake. The Lake Villa FD and Rescue Squad responded to the scene and found the drive at the shoreline, unaware of how he got there. Lake Villa divers assisted A-Tire Service with removing the truck from the lake.

SUV driven into West Loon Lake. : The Antioch FD and Rescue Squad received a 911 call for a car that has driven into West Loon Lake near Antioch. Divers arrived on the scene and found a empty submerged SUV about 40 yards from the shore. The divers searched the area around the vehicle but did not find anyone. The Lake County Sheriff found that the SUV had been stolen and then driven into the lake. Divers assisted Wildwood Service with recovering the vehicle from the lake.

20 year old drowns in Lake Miltmore : A 20 year old man disappeared in Lake Miltmore while boating with friends. The Lake Villa Fire & Rescue Squad received a 911 call that a person had disappeared. Lake Villa was on the scene with in minutes and had divers in the water very quickly. Lake Villa command pulled a dive box to the second alarm, dispatching divers and boats to the scene. The mans body was recovered the next morning.
